Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on the 19th of November, 1972, in London. She is a daughter of Chinese and French parents. When she was five years old old, she has lived in Toronto Canada. She was models on catwalks in Paris prior to becoming an actress. Her film debut was as Annuka, in Black Robe (1991). As a result of her performance, she received a nomination in the Genie Award - the Canadian Oscar. The film Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed with guest performances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. In John Woo s The Thief she played a major role in the development of the series over 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation as well Resident Evil Apocalypse followed in 2004. After a series of smaller parts on 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first big role as a main character. Holt began her acting career by playing minor guest roles as well as role in series. The year 2013 was the first time she landed the leading role in Hostages and was cast as a support character in the Netflix series House of Cards. She played Julie Han, in the US remake The Returned (2015) and she was cast as Bethany Exner.
