Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha first came out to be transgender in high school. These were tough years however, Sasha was confident that with the help of his family and music he could handle anything. Jim and Sasha are both writers and have recently joined as an official couple. They've played in local open mics in addition to other venues. While The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he as well as Jim discussed their journey to where they are today in an introductory clip played before the show. Sasha and Jim talked about their favorite music and how they first began playing guitar when he was six. Sasha was able to master the musical form faster since his father was a teacher. Sasha was a troubled kid with the gender of his identity. In a post on Instagram the teen shared his struggles. Jim fell to his knees in tears as he shared the reasons of the reasons he wasn't able to participate in. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born as girl. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, turns 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen made the transition to masculinity in the first year of high school. Sasha said on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person ever to be featured on the show and I'm excited to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals in such an extensive way."
