Mischa Barton

Barton is an British American actress, works in film, television and the theatre. Slavs, a Tony Kushner's production in New York's Lincoln Center was her first theatre performance. The actress played Marissa Cooper in the 2003-2006 season of the Fox show The O.C., for where she took home two Teen Choice Awards. Barton was voted the "It Girl of 2003" by Entertainment Weekly because she played the character. Barton has been acting since in the comedy St. Trinian's, the drama Closing the Ring directed by Richard Attenborough and the drama Closing the Ring.
